Hi friend !

Yes we can boil water at 0° Celsius .there is no atmospheric  pressure in vacuum so we can boil water in vacuum at 0 ° celcius in which pressure is very low.

generally we know ,
water boils at 100°C .

we remember definition of boiling point of water .

boiling point of water :- vapour pressure of water at a temperature is equal to atmospheric pressure then that temperature is known as boiling point of water .
it means if we create an enviroment in atmospheric pressure very less ( approximately 0.006 atm) then the atmospheric in the sea level .
then , I think this is possible .
so, I think we boil water at 0°C .

practically when we goes to mountain , hill . here water boils at 70° to 80° C
why ??? this is only reason when we goes to above the sea level atmospheric pressure decreases , due to this water boils at only 70° to 80° .

prmkulk1978: enough
abhi178: okay ,!! thank you mam , ask this type of question .
finefrenzy: thanks for your help abhi.. i was also thinking of the same question mam asked.. thnx once again..
prmkulk1978: Abhi you can add one point, atmp if reduces to 0.006atm
prmkulk1978: triple point definition you can recollect
abhi178: i edit 0.006 atm
abhi178: i know, about triple point . is this required here , mam
prmkulk1978: ok
prmkulk1978: Enough
prmkulk1978: further points are not required
