Yes, because it results in the formation of 2 daughter cells, that is, it results in the production of more individuals of the organisms.

Yes, I think that is suitable to consider cell division as a type of reproduction in unicellular organisms because in a unicellular organism there is only a single cell and that cell divides further via cell division to give rise to a new organism. And the definition of reproduction states that formation of new individuals from existing ones is called reproduction.

An example for it could be the binary fission occuring in ameoba.
