if the question was asked as can you add more than 100 gms then yes but since it is asked can you dissolve the answer is no because the 100 ml solvent has already absorbed 100 gms of solute and doesnt have any free space in its tummy to take any more solute hence cant dissolve anymore than 100 gms.
