(a) A parallelogram HOTS where HO = 5 cm, OT = 6 cm and OS = 5.5 cm.

⇒ HO=TS=5cm

⇒ SH=OT=6cm

⇒ Draw a line segment HO=5cm

⇒ Take O as center with radius 5.5cm and draw an arc.

⇒ Take H as center with radius 6cm and draw an arc, which cuts off previous arc at point S.

⇒ Take O as center with radius 6cm and draw an arc.

⇒ Take S as center with radius 5cm and draw an arc, which cuts off previous arc at point T.

⇒ Join OT,TS,SH and OS

∴ HOTS is required parallelogram.
