Hi, inert gases are last group in priodic table, the outermost energy level of inert gases is completely filled with electons, so they are inactive elements dosent share in chemical reactions, they are mono atomic molecules, inert gases group start with He,Ne,Ar,Kr,Xe

Brief description of inert gases

1. He, Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe, Rn are called as inert gases (18th group)

2. Except He(1s²) all other elements have ns² np⁶ configuration.

3. Due to the stable inert gas configuration they are chemically inert and have high ionization enthalpy.

4. All are monoatomic gases.

5. They all are also called as rare and noble gases.
