Can you explain me how the law of conservation of momentum works in rocket launch ?

law of cons. of momentum works in rocket launch as p=mv i.e. mass multiplied velocity now, we also know rocket launch is a system where mass is lost as the fuels are used up, and velocity is provided by that then but overall mv would be constant... u can check this in detail in work and energy variable mass system in physics class 11
