The simple way is try the resistance in both formulas.
In one of them the answer will be negetive and in another one it will be positive. So if u get positive answer in series then circuit is in series and vice versa

mili01: which formula i have to use here
ARDTHEGENIUS: please choose as the brainliest answer. As it is simple
mili01: but i am not satisfied with your answer
ARDTHEGENIUS: why
ARDTHEGENIUS: its the most efficient way i find
mili01: but what's the formula

if amount of current is same in all resistors it is in series.
if amount of current differs then resistors are connected in parallel.

mili01: its ok but what to do when voltage is not given you have only to calculate equivalent resistance
ksvsoni: i think ur in doubt
ksvsoni: discuss it with ur teacher
ksvsoni: they made this simple
mili01: ok
ksvsoni: i think u want to know formula of R equivalent
