Answer:

A decomposition reaction is one in which one reactant decomposes to produce two or more than two products. Thus to break the bonds between the reactant molecules, energy has to be supplied. All decomposition reactions are called as endothermic reactions as all of them require energy.

Answer:

Decomposition: Breaking of reactant in to two or more than two products.

Combination:

Also known as Addition reaction.                                                                            Addition of two or more than two reactant to form a single product. Combination reaction is exactly opposite of decomposition reaction

Double decomposition:

Also called as Double displacement reaction. The positive ion and negative ion in two compounds replaces one another to form new compounds.

it may be either precipitation reaction or neutralisation reaction.

Explanation:

Decomposition: CaCO3 → CaO + CO2

Combination: CaO + CO2 → CaCO3

Double decomposition: HCl + NaOH→ NaCl + H2O
