Can you explain the component of food security system started by government in India

For making the food available to all the section of people in India the government has implemented two main features :-

1.Public Distribution System (PDS)

2.Buffer Stock

PDS :- Ration shops provide grocery items of subsidised rates to the BPL card holders

Buffer Stock :- A supply of inputs held as a reserve to safeguard against unforseen shortages.

It is looked after by the Food Corporation of India (FCI)
