Can you feel emapthy only towards person you love? If you love someone, do you automatically feel emapthy for that person?

no and yes. i don't think that you can only feel empathy for someone you love. everybody can feel empathy for everybody. and yes, if you love someone and they tell you if they feel sad or depressed, then you should automatically feel empathy.
hope this is not to deep and doesn't offend anyone
