Hi friend,

3) Length=5m
Breadth=4m
Height=3m

For white washing four walls we will find CSA of the room-:
CSA=2*h(l+b)o
=2*3(5+4)
=2*3(9)
=2*27
=54 m^2

Now cost of white washing-:

Cost for white washing 1m^2=₹7.50
Cost of white washing 54m^2=54*7.50
=₹405

No option is correct.

4) Not able to do this one I will try and give answer till tomorrow.

Hope it helped you................

3. dimensions of the room= 5m , 4m , 3m
length= 5m
breadth=4m
height= 3m
CSA of a cuboid = 2h(l+b)
= 2×3(5+4)
=6×9 m^2
=54m^2
cost of white washing at the rate of 7.50 per m^2= 54×7.50
=Rs 405

4. perimeter = 250m
2(l+b)= 250m_______(1)
cost of white washing per CSA = 15000
2h(l+b)= Rs15000
250×h=Rs 15000
h= 15000/250
=60m

hope it helps...

sweety70: I mean how can we take cost of white washing as CSA?
mysticd: white washing area cost = Rs15000
mysticd: i.e white washing area 2(l+b) h m^2 cost = Rs 15000
mysticd: now 2(l+b) m * h m cost = 15000
mysticd: h m = 15000/2(l+b) = 15000/250 = 6
mysticd: h= 6m
sweety70: ohkk sir I understood but 15000/250 = 60 m
mysticd: okk , i w'll check again we r missing some logic i think,wait some time
sweety70: ohkk sir
sweety70: I think u r right and they didn't give correct option as they did for 3rd question
