Love does not have a perfect definition. It is not any physical entity which you can describe so as to create a perfect image of it, to make its meaning clear. Love can only be felt and experienced and taught. It is a feeling, an emotion that arises in the heart. In real life, universe and science, we have many terms which are undefined, some because we don't know anything extremely precise about them with which we can define them. But most of the terms that are undefined are because they are abstract. There is no definition for heart, emotions, feelings, thoughts, gravity, universe, etc. Remember this. Love does not occur to everyone with same person. So it is difficult to make someone else to understand what love exactly means. Once you experience and feel it, you will not require any definition for love at all.
Today, we use love with extremely limited meaning. When we hear love, the first that come sin our mind is that it is between a boy and a girl. We do not think that the meaning of love is extremely broad. Friends do love each other. Moreover, humans love not only their fellow beings, but also other plants, birds and animals. They are concerned at least a bit fit them. That makes them special. We can love even non-living things. I love cars. This does not mean that car is living or car is non-living, so it can be loved. Love is an universal word that is between almost every human whom we know.
