There's enough food in the country but indeed one-fifth of the people in the country are undernourished because for the following reasons;
a) There's a lack of educational and health installations in numerous corridors of the country. So, numerous people remain backward and poor, and so, they're unfit to get nutritional food. Without proper intake of nutrition value , they are suffering from malnutrition diseases.
b) In utmost of countries, the Public Distribution System( PDS) doesn't serve duly and the poor people can not get cheap food particulars, so they remain undernourished. The ration shops run by the government also not giving the quantity as told by the government to the poor. The ration shop seller sell their ration to private supplies and making money by depriving the poor from their basic needs.
c) The food was also exported to other countries for the growth of our economy. Ignoring their own country to increase the income of the country.
