Solution :

This can be solved by using the alternate angles concept easily .

For part A :

Angle y = angle x ( alternate angles ) .

Now , angle x = 55°

[ Opposite interior angles ]

So , the solution becomes x = y = 55° .

For part B -

Angle C + 45° = 180° [ Adjacent angles are supplementary ]

=> Angle C = 180° - 45°

=> Angle C = 135°

Similarly angle B and angle C are supplementary .

So angle B becomes 45° .

Similarly angle A and angle C are supplementary .

So angle A becomes 45° .

Solution :

Angle A = Angle B = 45° & Angle C = 135°
