Statement : Let p be a number.If a divides a², (where a is a positive integer), then p divides a.

i) 2 and 5 not divides a²n=1
ii) 2 divides a² =4
∴2 divides a=2
iii) 2 and 5 not divides a² = 9
iv) 5 divides a² = 25
∴5 divides 5

v) 2 divides a² =36
∴ 2 divides a =6
vi) 2 and 5 not divides a² = 49
vii) 2 divides a² = 64
∴ 2 divides a =8
viii) 2 and 5 not divides a² =81
