Answer:

Given = KL = PQ = 8

om = 3 RM = 5.5

and om is the chord hence it bisect the chord

KL = 1/2KM

KL = Km = 4

To find = ok

ROM

cons= goint seg OL

find = OL =KO. ( radius of same circle ) ......1

and

by given OM is the median of seg KL

hence

in triangle KOL OM is median

by applonius theorem

OL2 + OK2 = 2KM2 + 2OM2

OL2 +OL2 = 2× (4 )2 + 2×( 3)2

2OL2 = 2× 16 + 2×9

= 32 + 18

2OL2 = 50

OL2. = 50/2

OL2 = 25

OL = 5

hence radius of circle

OK = OL = 5

( OK = 5 )

Answer:

As KM is half of KL,

KM = 8/2

KM = 4 cm

So, using Pythogora's Theorem

OK^2 = 3^2 + 4^2

OK = 5
