Can you help me solve these 2 questions?
1. Solve 4 −2 ( x – 5 ) = (-2)
2. Find the product of -5/4 and its additive inverse.

(1) Given that :

4 - 2(x - 5) = - 2

On solving :

4 - 2x + 10 = - 2 \\ \\ = > 2x = 16 \\ \\ = > x = 8

(2)

 Additive \: Inverse \: of \: \frac{ - 5}{4} = \frac{5}{4}

Now, according to the question :

 \frac{ - 5}{4} \times \frac{5}{4} \\ \\ = > \frac{ - 25}{16}
