Explanation:

Given:

x = 8t³-3t²+2t

To Find:

Avg. velocity of the body b/w

t= 0 sec

t= 1 sec

Solution:

The equation is,

x = 8t³-3t²+2t

Displacement at t= 0 sec

x1 = 8(0)³-3(0)²+2(0)

x1 = 0m

Displacement at t = 1 sec

x2 = 8(1)³-3(1)²+2(1)

x2 = 8-3+2

x2 = 7m

Total displacement

X = x1 + x2 = 7m

Time taken

t1 = 0 sec

t2 = 1 sec

Avg. velocity

<V> = S/t

<V> = 7/1

<V> = 7m/s
