Black Hole :
- It is a place in space where gravity pulls so much that even light can not get out.
- When a star is dying it is happens.
- As the matter has been squeezed into a tiny space the gravity is very strong.
- We can not see black hole because no light gets out of it.
- Black hole are totally different from stars.

Here is the answer to your question!
Let me tell you what black holes exactly mean.
Black hole is actually not a whole. It is a small star-like object, formed when a very massive star with a mass more than 8 times the mass of the Sun explodes as a supernova at the end of its life. A star lives and gives off energy and light as long as nuclear fusion goes on in its core.
When nuclear fusion is no longer possible, the star first collapses suddenly and then rebounds with a huge explosion, it's brightness increasing more than a million times. It becomes a supernova. After the explosion, a small star-like object made entirely with closely packed neutrons, is left behind. The density of the object is extremely high, which makes its gravitational pull so strong that even light cannot come out of it. Since no light comes out, the star-like object cannot be seen by optical telescope and that is why its is called a BLACK HOLE.
