EXPLANATION: CM does not depend on axis of rotation. it is a point in space.
radius of gyration K, depends on axis of rotation. it is distance where the whole body can be concentrated to produce same I.
I = M K^2
e.g. disc
CM is always at centre.
but I_disc changes depending on axis choice, and K_disc also changes accordingly
