Jharkhand state is rich mineral resources.however ,it is economically backward because of the following reasons
1.it was originally mostly populated by tribals who were uneducated
2.due to rocky terrain , there is very little agriculture land
3 lack of industrial development earlier time compare with rest of India
the Mumbai region of Maharashtra State is poor in natural resources but highly economically developed
