- Assam;

-Other North East States

- Jharkhand ;and

- Madhya Pradesh;

On the other hand regions relatively poor in resources but economically developed include:

- Gujarat;

- Maharashtra;

- Tamil Nadu ;

- Andhra Pradesh;

- Kerala etc.
