Two Organelles that have their own genetic materials are MITOCHONDRIA and PLASTIDS
Mitochondria:
Mitrochondria occur in the cells of plants and animals except mammals RBCs & Bacteria. They are colourless. The shape is rod like on sausage-shaped.
Mitochondria are sites of cellular respiration. They are called the powerhouse of the cell because they synthesise energy rich compounds ATP. Energy stored in ATP is used by the cell.
Plastids:
Plastic occur in most Plant cell and Animal cells.they have their own genome(DNA). They are self replicating(they have the power to divide).
