• Alveoli

2. Functions:

• Nose - humidifies, warms/cools the air and prevents entry of dust etc.
• Pharynx, Trachea, Bronchi, Bronchioles - mere conduction of air to alveoli.
• Alveoli - Actual place of gas exchange where gases are removed/added to the pulmonary blood.
