Yes there was a change in the size of the pupil.
The pupil was larger when the torch was not thrown into the eyes
Explanation:
This happens because when the touch is placed on the eyes the iris of the eyes shrink to adjust the amount of light entering the eyes, hence the iris dialates and the the pupil changes it's size to be small
