                                 Importance of Girls' Education

It has rightly been said by someone in Africa 'If you educate a man you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman, you educate a woman.' In the light of the above mentioned axiom, empowering the girl child with education is the best and the wisest option a nation could have in empowering itself. In the big vast of our world, many nations in African, Asian, and South American continents are still grappling with the problems of backwardness. Hunger, poverty, unemployment, poor standards of living, poor medical facilities, poor education, etc, are still lingering on in the developing countries. Empowering girl child with education us the only panacea. With her education, not only she will be benefited, she will spread the light of education all around her. She will teach her brothers, sisters, neighbors, and other adults; this will lead to a positive ripple effect that will lead to skill enhancement and the prospects of being hired by competent companies will increase. Besides, an educated girl child ensures the surety of other educated family members. So empowering girl child with education is the+ best investment a nation can make!

A nation that doesn't empower its girl children with education can never achieve the objectives of self reliance in agriculture, industry, and service sector. For India the objective of 100% literacy is still quite distant. Owing to so many factors the rate of girls enrollment in schools is quite low! And as long as the gap is not filled, the prospect of our nation becoming a developed country looks quite bleak. Indian government needs to precipitate the process of girls empowerment through education by implementing new laws. The private schools can be roped in achieving the goal. People and NGOs should also be involved in this mission. With the concerted efforts only the girls empowerment through education is possible.

Girl education -

Let us pick up our pen and pencils, they are our most powerful weapon.

Girls education is equally important as that of boys education. It is necessary for the development of a country since a country doesn't constitute of boys. A society needs equal balance between girls and boys education and that can be only done when both are educated.

There are certain places in our country where girls are not educated thinking that it will go waste. People only focus on boys education because they think girls will get married and go to their husband's house, then what is the need for it. But by educating a girl they can actually educate two families.

But they are not aware of the fact of educating a girl. Educating a girl means development of country, share of burden over families, social awareness, knowledge of their rights and so on. So we should educate the girl child.
