Answer:

multiples of 3 in the given set of 25 numbers are 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24.

i.e., there are 8 numbers.

multiples of 5 in the given set of 25 numbers are 5,10,15,20,25.

ie., there are 5 numbers.

among them 15 is the only common number.

so

a) probability of the number on the card being a multiple of 3 is 8/25.

b) probability of the number on the card being a multiple of 5 is 5/25 i.e., 1/5.

c) probability of the number on the card being a multiple of both 3&5 is 1/25.

d) probability of the number on the card being a multiple of either 3 or 5 is 8+5 = 13/25.

hope this helps :)
