given that ∠ABP = 42°

(i) ∠PQB  = ?

 we know that The sum of the three angles of the triangle is 180°.

   Δ PBA

   ∠PAB + ∠ABP + ∠BPA = 180

      90 + 42  + ∠BPA  = 180

                        ∠BPA = 180 - 132

                      ∠BPA    =   48 = ∠QPB ....(i)

      ∵ ∠ABQ = ∠ABP = 42°

               ∠PBQ   =  84°     .......(ii)

then in ΔPBQ

       ∠PQB + ∠PBQ + ∠BPQ = 180

         ∠PQB + 84 + 48 = 180

              ∠PQB         =  180 - 132

            ∠PQB          =  48°  

(ii)

    ∠QPB + ∠PBQ

     48° + 84°               (eq (i) & (ii) )

      132°
