can you please tell me how you got which is aromatic, anti aromatic and non aromatic​

AROMATIC

1)cyclic

2) planar(sp2 hybridization)

3) conjugated

4)4n+2 electrons(pie)

ANTI AROMATIC:

1)cyclic

2) planar(sp2 hybridization)

3) conjugated

4)4n electrons(pie)

NON AROMATIC:

If the given compound violates any one of the 4 rules then the compound is said to be anti aromatic

SOLUTION:

pls refer the attachment first for better understanding

(1) compound is cyclic , conjugated ,planar

total no of π electrons =8

4 n

if n=2 then

4×2 = 8 hence it is anti aromatic

(2) compound is cyclic , conjugated ,planar

total no of π electrons =6

4 n +2

if n=1 then

4×1+2 = 6 hence it is aromatic

(3)

compound is cyclic , nonconjugated ,nonplanar

As it violates 2 of the 4 rules it is non aromatic
