possessive determiners constitute a subclass of determiners which modify a noun attributing possession to someone or something. they are also known as possessive adjectives.
possessive forms of personal pronouns ,namely my,your,his,her,its, etc but excluding those forms such as mine and ours that are used as possessive pronouns but not as determiners
