Can you please tell me what is rational and irrational number?

A Rational number is any number that can be expressed as fraction of two intergers .

An irrational number is a real number that cannot be expressed as ratio of integers

RATIONAL NUMBERS are those numbers which can be written in the form of p/q where p and q are integers and q is not equal to zero... For eg. ==>> 2/2, 2/6, 5/9 , 67 , √4 = 2, √9= 3 etc......... NOTE :- 0 is also a rational no. as 0 = 0/1............................................... IRRATIONAL NUMBERS are those numbers which cannot be written in the form of p/q where p and q are integers and q is not equal to 0..... For eg. ===> √5, √2 etc...
