Hey there!

Given,

Potential Difference (V) = 4.5 V

No,w

1 Ω and 3 Ω resistor are in series.

Re =( 1 + 3)  Ω = 4 Ω

6  Ω resistor and 4  Ω equivalent resistance are in parallel.

1 / R'e = 1 / 4 + 1 / 6

1 / R'e = (3 + 2) / 12

1 / R'e = 5 / 12

R'e = 12 / 5

R'e = 2.4  Ω

Now,

3.6  Ω resistor, 2.4  Ω and 3  Ω are in series,

R''e = (3.6 + 2.4 + 3)  Ω = 9  Ω

We know,

V = iR

where,

i = current

R = resistance

4.5 = i * 9

i = 4.5 / 9

i = 0.5 ampere
