Hii There!!!

It's simple....

See..
Here [ -1/3 ] is the zero of given polynomial p(x)

So, on substituting x = [ -1/3 ] we get ;

p ( -1/3 ) = 27 × ( -1/3 )^3 - a × ( -1/3 )^2 - ( -1/3 ) + 3 = 0

=> 27 × [ - 1/27 ] -a × 1/27 + 1/3 + 3 = 0

=> -1 - a/27 + 1/3 + 3 = 0

=> - 27 - a whole divided by 27 + 10/3 = 0

=> -27 - a + 90 whole divided by 27

=> - 27 - a + 90 = 0

=> -a + 63 = 0

=> - a = -63

Negative sign will be cancelled out

So, we get a = 63

Hence, the value of 'a' will be 63
