Power of bulb,p=60w
Time=10h/day

Enery consumed in 1 day=power×time
=(60×10)wh =600wh
=600/1000kwh
=0.6kwh
For 30days energy consumption=0.6×30kwh
18kwh
1kwh=1unit
18kwh=18unit
Now,
Cost of 1 unit=Rs3.50
Cost of 18 unit=Rs(3.50×18)
= Rs63

ShreyaBhowmick: We know that the unit of work done is watt. we know, 1 kilo-watt hour is equal to 1000 watt.. so to convert 60 watt into kilo-watt hour we have divided 60(according to the sum given) by 1000 which is 0.06 kwh.. the formula of power is work done by time:p=w/t..the value of power we got 0.06 and the value of time is 10 (hrs) ..to get the work done we have multiplied 0.06*10 and got 0.6units..Given, 1 unit costs Rs. 3.50 for 30 days in a month. therefore,3.50*0.6*30=63..
ShreyaBhowmick: So the amount or price to be paid is Rs. 63
sss49: thank you
