assume that we have two variables say a and b
now square both and subtract b2 from both u will get
a2 -b2= Ab -b2
now factor the left side using foil identity fro algebra
now u will get
(a-b) ( a+b) = b(a-b)
cancel it and u will get
a+b =b
a= B assumption to get b+b = b after u will get 2b =b
since it appears on both side divide it and u will get 2= 1 hope u like it is tricky but..
leave brainiest plz

here is your answer
===================
*****************************
➡Since (a - b) appears on both sides

➡ we can cancel it to get: a + b = b

➡Since a = b (that's the assumption we started with)

➡we cansubstitute b in for a to get: b + b = b

➡Combining the two terms on the left gives us: 2b = b

➡Since b appears on both sides

➡we candivide through by b to get: 2 = 1.
