Na + HCl ---> NaCl + H2
We know that Na is a metal and HCl is an acid.
Also, acids + metal --> Salt + Hydrogen
Here, also Na reacts with HCl to liberate hydrogen gas, we find that here H is displaced as it comes below the Na in reactivity series.
