Answer:
Explanation:
I have had a multilingual upbringing with around 5 languages (Tamil,Telugu, Malayalam, English, Hindi) spoken at my home. I recall an incident from my early childhood (I was around 6 years old) that was responsible for shaping my jingoism for the country. As we were awaiting our order at a restaurant, I was talking to my mother about my day at school in Tamil and my sister was busy chatting with my father in Hindi and English. In sometime, the conversations began to happen in Telugu and parts of Malayalam. A gentleman sitting next to our table was really bewildered to hear a conversation among the 4 of us in 5 different languages and politely asked my father, "Where do you belong to?" (Wanting to know the part of India we hailed from). I remember interjecting my father and replying to the gentleman meekly, "We are Indians".
