Researchers found that highly toxic pesticides had being detected in many soft drinks such as :-

--> Mirinda (10.7%)

--> Thums Up (15.2%)

--> Pepsi (10.9%)

-->Fanta (9.1%)

-->Coke (13.4%)

--> 7 Up (12.5%)

CSE's ( central for science and environment ) exploration led to this awareness.
Sad part is that the huge consumers of these kind of soft drinks are the youth.
Even after revealing the side effects of these soft drinks, still this generation is not willing to let go of these.
Like said, good habits are easy to get lost. But bad ones are not that ease to let go. Somewhat we are addicted to these soft drinks.
Regular usage of soft drinks will badly affect our liver and it may lead to cancer.
In many areas Cola , pepsi etc.. are used as pesticides , bcoz if its availability and cheap rate. Infact it is good pesticide to kill harmful pests.
But lion share of people are using this pesticide as soft drinks.

Unfortunately, colas were found to contain high level of  pesticide residues than the permissible limits. Farmers in some areas started using the beverages to combat pests because of low costs compared to conventional pesticide brands. There are different versions to its effectiveness as a pesticide. But the fact of the matter is cokes were used to kill pesticides.
