"No permission is given for the New Year events at resorts, pubs, clubs and bars on December 31 night," the CP said. He also added that ban is also imposed on the year ending parties at apartments and gated communities. Sajjanar said that action would be initiated if anyone found violating the orders and asked the public to cooperate with the police. He said that decision has been taken in the view of corona pandemic.
