yes mrs. pumphrey and her servants were emotionally attached to tricki. Mrs pumphrey kept feeding tricki more and more food even though the vet asked her to not to feed him much food. she thought that he was getting malnourished so she kept feeding it. when Dr herriot came to take tricki with him all the servants came outside to give some things for his stay like coats, bowls,etc. they were all heartbroken that tricki was being taken away. when tricki was staying there, mrs pumphrey kept on sending eggs wine brandy for tricki to feed upon.
