Answer:

11. Let x be the no.

20 % of X =30

20 X /100 =30

X = 30 ×100/20

X = 150

The number is 150

12.   Let x be the no.

5 % of X = 9

5 X /100 =9

X =5 ×100/9

X = 55.55

The number is 55.55

Hope it helps you.

Let required number be => x(considering in all questions)

11. According to question,

(please note that the question has mentioned the word "increased" which indicates that addition is required in the question)

x + (x*20/100) = 30

x + x/5 =30

6x = 150

=> x = 25

So, the required number is 25

12. 5/100*x = 9

x/20 = 9

=> x = 180

So, the required number is 180

13. 39 + 35/100*x = x

39/1 + 7x/20 =x ( this 1 as denominator of 39 is used to clarify that for now it is a separate number and lcm is not taken)

780 + 7x/20 = x

780 + 7x = 20x

13x = 780

=> x = 60

So, the required number is 60

[Sis, please note the above answer is not correct just apply common sense do you think that increasing 150 by 20 percent (or any number like, 1) would ever give 30 as the answer??

150 is already much greater than 30 so it's never possible.and, the answer of 2nd part is 180 only, if u aren't sure then simply google 5 percent of 9, you WILL surely get the answer as 9.]

I Don't want to spread any kind of hate or to make someone inferior but having clarification in each and every concept is important.

I hope you'll understand..

good day.
