Answer:

Area of the field is 720 m^2.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that the trapezium is of 130 m, BC is of 54m,  CD is of 19m and AD is of 42 m.

= > Length of trapezium = sum of lengths all sides

= > 130m = 54m + 19m + 42m + AB

= > 130 m = 115 m + AB

= > 130 m - 115m = AB

= > 15 m = AB

From the properties of trapezium,

Area of trapezium = 1 / 2 x ( sum of parallel sides ) x ( perpendicular )

Therefore,

= > Area of trapezium = 1 / 2 x ( AD + BC ) x ( AB )

= > Area of trapezium = 1 / 2 x ( 96 m ) x 15 m

= > Area of trapezium = 720 m^2

Thus,

Area of the trapezium is 720 m^2.

In ABCD
BC=64m CD=19m AD =42m
kength of trapezium shape field ABCD=130m
ABCD=AB+BC+CD+AD
130 =AB+54+19+42
130=AB+115
AB=130-115
AB=15
AB is height of trapezium because angle B=90°
AD parallel to BC
A(trapezium ABCD)=1/2(sum of parallel sides)*height
=1/2(AD+BC)*AB
=1/2(42+54)*15
=1/2*96*15
=720sq.m
The area of field is 720sq.m
