cosa= base/ hypotenuse

(cosa)^2 = base^2 /hypotenuse^2

sina^2+ cosa^2 = perpendicular^2/hypotenuse^2 + base ^2 /hypotenuse^2

( base^2 +perpendicular^2) = hypotenuse^2

= hypotenuse^2+ hypotenuse ^²= 1
