{(x+5)*1 + (x-3)*1} / (x-3)*(x+5) =1/3

(x+5 + x-3 ) / x^2 -3x +5x -15 = 1/3

( 2x +2) / x^2 + 2x - 15 = 1 /3

3*(2x +2) = x^2 +2x -15

6x + 6 = x^2 +2x - 15

x^2 +2x -15 -6x -6 =0

x ^2 -4x -21 =0

x^2 +3 x -7x -21 =0

x (x+3) -7 ( x+3) =0

x +3 =0 and x -7 =0

x = -3 and x = 7.
