Solution :-

→ x = 2^(1/3) + 2^(-1/3)

cube both sides,

→ x³ = [2^(1/3) + 2^(-1/3)]³

using (a + b)³ = a³ + b³ + 3ab(a + b)

→ x³ = {2^(1/3)}³ + {2^(-1/3)}³ + 3 * 2^(1/3) * (2^(-1/3) * (2^(1/3) + 2^(-1/3))

→ x³ = 2 + 1/2 + 3x

→ x³ = 5/2 + 3x

→ x³ = (5 + 6x)/2

→ 2x³ = 5 + 6x

2x³ - 6x = 5 (Proved).
