you can present a flowchart or even a 3d model of a gps system. It triangulates the coordinates of a point and then uses trigonometry to figure where exactly the point is. you can read more about this from the internet.
Even some (digital)altimeters used for construction purposes have codes in them which use basic trigonometry.
