Can you tell why people always select nylon ropes for rock climbing instead of cotton or jute ropes

People always took nylon ropes instead of cotton and jute because it is much more stronger.It is also the reason nylon ropes are also used in parachutes, whereas cotton and jute ropes will easily break during the climb when it rubs against the sharp rocks.

Nylon ropes are usually strong enough. Even it is rough thus having friction and friction in between our palms fixes with that and we get a better grip for climbing. Thus nylon ropes are used as climbing ropes and even for other purposes.
