History, asked by Lakshmivarsha, 1 year ago

Can you think of examples of surveys in your world today? Think about how toy companies get information about what young people enjoy playing with or how the government finds out about the number of young people in school. What can a historian derive from such surveys?

In the present day, different surveys can be carried out by the government and by the private enterprises. The government surveys consist of census, but the private companies carry surveys to get customers’ opinions on any product.

The best example is toy companies who prepare a questionnaire on a paper to get desired results. The sampled people are from schools and also the young ones. Then the conclusion came that those toys are mostly liked by the young ones. On the other hand, the government carries out a census every 10 years by getting detail from every home.
