Floods can be destructive, they fill a house’s basement with water, or even destroy or damage houses. Too much may make the harvest fail, as the crops are destroyed by the huge amounts.


Floods can, however, also be productive. If it is not too much, it can actually be very good for crops and fertility. The water leaves a bit of silt, this makes the ground very fertile, which is good for farmers and crops. If there has been a drough, a flood may also be productive.
