WATER MOLECULES ARE NOT TIGHTLY PACKED

SO THERE WILL BE SOME SPACE IN BETWEEN THE MOLECULES

WHEN WE DISSOLVE SUGAR IN WATER THEN THE SUGAR MOLECULES OCCUPIES THE SPACE IN BETWEEN THE WATER MOLECULES.

AS THE MOLECULES ARE VERY SMALL WE CANNOT SEPERATE SUGAR BY SIEVE OR FILTER

DURING FILTRATION THE SUGAR MOLECULES ARE TINY ENOUGH TO FLOW THROUGH THE PORES IN THE FILTER.

SO THE SUGAR CAN BE SEPARATED BY EVAPORATION.
